Deck overview

This deck is a Selesnya +1/+1 counters aggro deck commanded by Hamza, Guardian of Arashin. The primary strategy focuses on deploying low-cost creatures that enter with or distribute +1/+1 counters during the first three turns. On Turn 4, Hamza enters at a steep mana discount and provides continuous generic cost reduction for all future creature spells. This allows the deck to flood the board on Turn 5 with high-impact beaters like Darksteel Colossus and powerful multipliers like Byrke, Long Ear of the Law and Bristly Bill, Spine Sower. The deck grants evasion through trample and flying to bypass blockers and close out games across two combat cycles. While lacking creature tutors and fast mana, the deck boasts deep functional redundancy, potent one-sided board wipes like Damning Verdict, and strong defensive spells such as Inspiring Call and Tyrant Guard to protect its board presence.
