Commander: Smaug the Impenetrable

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Treasure/Dragon deck helmed by Smaug the Impenetrable, an 8/7 flying, indestructible, hasty Dragon that converts noncombat damage into Treasure tokens. The engine is Treasure generation: Dragons like Goldspan Dragon, Ancient Copper Dragon, Ganax, Astral Hunter, and Rapacious Dragon flood the board with Treasures, Xorn doubles every token, and the Pyrohemia/Pestilence ping package turns the commander into a mana faucet. Wins come from Torment of Hailfire on infinite mana, Smaug the Magnificent's attack trigger, or the Revel in Riches alternate condition. The deck is a midrange value pile that snowballs Treasure counts into a table-killing finish, with the commander as a bonus payoff rather than the load-bearing engine.
