Deck overview

This is a classic Orzhov life-gain/life-drain deck helmed by Selenia, the Cursed Heart, whose doubling of all life gain supercharges the entire plan. The core engine converts every point of life gained into opponent life loss through Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Enduring Tenacity, and Marauding Blight-Priest, with Exquisite Blood closing the loop into an infinite drain. Backup wins include Aetherflux Reservoir, massive X-spells like Exsanguinate and Debt to the Deathless, and a resilient recursion package anchored by The Soul Stone and Liesa, Forgotten Archangel. The deck plays a patient, value-oriented game, building life total and card advantage before pivoting to a table-killing drain.
