Deck overview

This mono-red aggro deck centers on Raphael, the Nightwatcher, turning low-cost aggressive creatures into lethal threats by granting them double strike whenever they attack. The primary strategy involves deploying evasive 1- and 2-drops early, stacking power-boosting anthems like Goblin Oriflamme and Ferocity of the Wilds, and sneaking Raphael onto the battlefield during the declare blockers step to surprise opponents with doubled combat damage. Equipment like Mask of Memory and Goldvein Pick extracts extra value from combat connections. The deck operates entirely on a fair, linear combat axis, lacking infinite combos, fast mana acceleration, or stax locks. While it applies rapid single-target pressure by Turn 5, it faces challenges against board wipes and pillowfort effects due to a complete lack of reactive interaction and plan shielding.
