Deck overview

This deck is a casual mono-red combat and burn strategy focused on deploying Drakuseth, Maw of Flames as its primary finisher. The game plan centers on hitting early land drops and deploying mana rocks such as Sol Ring, Worn Powerstone, and Fire Diamond to power out high-CMC threats. Once Drakuseth resolves, it leverages attack triggers to clear opposing blockers and deal heavy direct damage across the table. Haste enablers like Hammer of Purphoros and Tuktuk Rubblefort ensure Drakuseth can attack immediately to bypass sorcery-speed removal. Midrange dragons and aggressive beaters such as Atsushi, the Blazing Sky, Charging Monstrosaur, and Rampaging Raptor provide early board presence and secondary pressure. The interaction suite heavily emphasizes damage-based removal and artifact destruction. The deck's primary limitations are its lack of stack protection, reliance on top-decked card flow, and vulnerability to spot removal across prolonged combat cycles.
