Commander: Winota, Joiner of Forces

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Boros "Winota" deck that pairs a swarm of cheap non-Human attackers with the commander's ability to flip Humans directly onto the battlefield, tapped and attacking. The deck is a fast aggro-combo hybrid: it slows the table with a stax package (Archon of Emeria, Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, Deafening Silence) while using extra combat effects to chain multiple attacks in a single turn. The primary win condition is combat damage, amplified by Blade Historian's double strike and Angrath's Marauders' damage doubling. The commander is the engine that turns every non-Human attacker into a tutor, making the deck explosive and consistent. It aims to kill by turn 5, with occasional turn 4 nut draws.
