Treasure by Bruno Mars by kujoprime

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Impenetrable

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Rakdos Treasure deck turns noncombat damage to Smaug the Impenetrable into Treasure ramp. The 8/7 has haste and indestructible, so you ping it with Pestilence or Pyrohemia to create Treasures, then use those Treasures to cast big Dragons and drain the table. Mayhem Devil closes the loop: sacrificing a Treasure pings Smaug for a new Treasure, and each Pestilence activation also hits opponents. When the loop is missing, the deck wins fairly through Goldspan Dragon, Cavern-Hoard Dragon, and Smaug the Magnificent combat plus incremental drains from Mirkwood Bats, Reckless Fireweaver, Ingenious Artillerist, and Marionette Master, with Torment of Hailfire or Crackle with Power as a big-mana finisher. Mayhem Devil is the hidden commander for the sacrifice plan.
