Deck overview

This deck is a Jund -1/-1 counter aristocrats strategy commanded by The Reaper, King No More. While the commander provides steady creature removal and theft in the midgame, the deck's primary objective is assembling an infinite life-drain loop to eliminate the table simultaneously. It achieves this primarily through Warren Soultrader, Gravecrawler, and a drain permanent like Blood Artist, or through Blowfly Infestation paired with Nest of Scarabs. Dense ramp at 1 and 2 mana ensures the deck develops ahead of curve, while powerhouses like Yawgmoth, Thran Physician and The Scorpion God generate overwhelming card advantage. Interaction is deep and flexible across all permanent types, featuring efficient removal such as Assassin's Trophy and creature locks like Kulrath Knight and Maha, Its Feathers Night. The deck plays as a resilient control deck that transitions rapidly into a compact Turn 5 combo kill.
