Deck overview

Zurgo Stormrender leads a Mardu token-swarm deck that turns wide boards into cards and life loss. The primary plan is to attack with Zurgo each turn, using his mobilize tokens as both draw fuel and sacrifice material. Token multipliers like Kaya, Geist Hunter, Divine Visitation, and Thalisse, Reverent Medium explode the board, while Bastion of Remembrance, Goblin Bombardment, and Mirkwood Bats convert each token's death into damage. All-Out Assault and myriad effects provide a second combat and exponential attackers. There is no hidden commander or infinite combo; the deck wins through incremental drain, combat, and occasional big token turns.
