Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Izzet archetype designed around Scarlet Witch, Chaotic Avenger. The primary strategy accelerates mana in the early turns to deploy Scarlet Witch on Turn 3. On Turn 4, an evasive combat attack cheats game-winning noncreature spells and Hero cards into play without paying their mana costs. Cheating cards such as Omniscience, One with the Multiverse, or Hit the Mother Lode creates overwhelming tempo that closes games rapidly. The deck finishes via massive direct burn from Passionate Archaeologist, an overwhelming swarm of flying tokens from Shark Typhoon, extra turn chains with Nexus of Fate, or an infinite mana and exile loop using Jeska's Will and Reiterate. Robust countermagic, free defensive spells, and uncounterable static effects safeguard the engine during its critical execution window.
