Deck overview

This mono-black control deck is commanded by Tinybones, Bauble Burglar and focuses on symmetric hand destruction, resource theft, and attrition. The primary strategy uses multi-player discard spells like Burglar Rat, Bandit's Talent, and Syphon Mind to empty opposing hands while the commander exiles those cards with stash counters, turning them into an extended hand castable with mana of any color. Engines like Waste Not and Geth's Grimoire convert discard triggers into extra mana, creature tokens, and card draw. In the mid-to-late game, the deck converts resource denial into victory using punishing enchantments like Painful Quandary and Court of Ambition, aggressive beaters like Rottenmouth Viper, or direct drain from Tinybones, Trinket Thief and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. Doubling engines like Cabal Coffers and Crypt Ghast fuel expensive plays, though a lack of countermagic and noncreature tutors requires relying on raw card flow.
