Deck overview

Otrimi, the Ever-Playful leads a Sultai mutate deck built around cheap evasive creatures, mana acceleration, and repeated mutate triggers. The deck uses Slippery Bogle, Gladecover Scout, Silhana Ledgewalker, and Slither Blade as reliable bodies to receive Otrimi, the Ever-Playful and later mutate creatures. Pollywog Symbiote reduces mutate costs and filters cards, while Sea-Dasher Octopus, Dreamtail Heron, Beast Whisperer, and Garruk's Uprising provide card flow. The deck has meaningful removal and several protection spells, but most of its strongest effects require combat, a surviving creature, or substantial mana. It can create a threatening board and strong value engine around Turns 6–8, yet it has no compact win condition, infinite combo, or total lockout. Its normal outcome is a large creature board and incremental pressure rather than a dependable three-opponent finish.
