Deck overview

This Esper deck uses Hashaton, Scarab's Fist to turn discard outlets into an immediate board-state engine. The primary plan discards expensive creatures to low-cost looters or draw-discard spells, then pays two generic and one blue mana to create tapped 4/4 Zombie token copies. This cheats premier threats like Archon of Cruelty, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Valgavoth, Terror Eater, and Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur into play on Turn 4. A traditional reanimation package featuring Reanimate, Animate Dead, and Victimize offers full independence, ensuring threats arrive even without the commander. Once established, these creatures strip opponent resources, suppress utility boards, and build massive card advantage. Because the tokens enter tapped and lack haste, the deck relies on a multi-turn combat clock to eliminate the table by Turn 8. Targeted removal, counterspells, and board wipes provide defensive cover while grinding opponents out of the game.
