Deck overview

This deck is an Esper control and cheat-into-play strategy commanded by Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign. The primary goal is to ramp in the early turns, fix the top of the library with cards like Sensei's Divining Top, Brainstorm, and Soothsaying, and then attack with Yennett on Turn 5 to cast massive odd-cost spells for free. Bomb payoffs like Void Winnower, Toxrill, the Corrosive, and Breach the Multiverse swing board states heavily in your favor, while unique disruption pieces like Fatespinner and Exchange of Words slow down opposing game plans. The deck controls the board with efficient removal spells such as Swords to Plowshares and Extinction Event before closing the game out through sustained aerial and Eldrazi combat damage.
