Ixhel, Scion of Atraxa V2 by user8165258

Format: Commander

Commander: Ixhel, Scion of Atraxa

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Phyrexian poison deck spreads poison counters through toxic/infect creatures and proliferate effects, then uses Ixhel, Scion of Atraxa to convert three or more poison counters into steady card advantage. The primary plan is incremental combat damage, amplified by multiple proliferate triggers. Secondary paths include bursting one opponent with Tainted Strike on a powerhouse like Skithiryx or Tyrranax Rex, or ritual from White Sun's Twilight mana. The commander provides gas but the deck isn't reliant on it due to several alternative toxic threats and standalone draw engines.
