Gambling (Chaos Cascade) by Houzza

Format: Commander

Commander: Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Yidris is a four-color cascade engine. The primary plan is to ramp, make Yidris unblockable, connect, and turn every spell cast from hand into a cascade chain that cheats out high-mana payoffs like Apex Devastator, Maelstrom Wanderer, and Etali, Primal Conqueror. The real finisher is a hasty, trampling board: Imoti, Celebrant of Bounty and Nalfeshnee multiply cascade triggers, while Pathbreaker Ibex provides the single-turn damage output. Maelstrom Wanderer acts as an effective hidden commander, giving all creatures haste. Secondary plans include Tooth and Nail tutoring and hard-casting big spells. Without a deterministic combo, the deck wins through combat damage in one explosive turn, but it can also grind via repeated cascade turns.
