Dragons - pEDH by ZeGuigui

Format: Commander

Commander: Thrakkus the Butcher

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Gruul Dragon beatdown deck built around Thrakkus the Butcher. The main plan is to accelerate into Thrakkus, then attack with a critical mass of Dragons while his trigger doubles their power. Secondary lines use Savage Ventmaw's postcombat mana to chain-cast another Dragon, Dragon Tempest and Carnelian Orb for haste, and Bhaal's Invoker as a repeatable source of damage to all opponents. The deck has no infinite combos or one-turn kill; it closes with repeated large trampling attacks. Acolyte of Bahamut and several Dragon cost reducers keep the top end manageable. Ganax is useful, but there is no hidden commander; the deck is firmly built around Thrakkus as its force multiplier.
