Thranduil by Scorge

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Sultai Elf deck uses Thranduil, the Elvenking as a graveyard-toolbox engine. Ramp with Elf dorks, stock the yard with key Elves, then cast Thranduil to borrow their activated abilities. The primary win is the Devoted Druid + Immaculate Magistrate untap loop, which makes a creature arbitrarily large and then sacrifices it with Jarad for a table-kill. A secondary plan is a wide Elf horde with tokens and Ezuri/Allosaurus Shepherd overruns, sometimes finished by Lathril's drain. The deck is flexible but heavily rewards keeping Thranduil on board and getting specific Elf cards into the graveyard.
