Deck overview

This deck accelerates with cheap mana creatures and Sol Ring, then uses large creatures to reduce Ghalta, Primal Hunger and build a trampling combat board. Its best ordinary engine is a large creature plus Garruk's Uprising or Elemental Bond: those cards turn expensive creatures into additional cards while keeping pressure on the table. Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma, Rhonas's Monument, and Hulking Raptor improve the mana curve, while Carnage Tyrant and Dungrove Elder help against targeted removal. The deck usually assembles its first serious board around turn 6 and creates a must-answer attack around turn 7. It is not a deterministic combo deck, however. It lacks broad tutoring, stack interaction, and a dependable way to deal 120 total damage quickly. Its strongest games use Overwhelming Stampede or Unnatural Growth to convert a wide board into lethal combat, but those cards are not consistently available with the required board and mana.
