Thranduil, the Elvenking by Grifone979

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking spearheads a Sultai graveyard-combo deck that weaponizes Elf activated abilities. By stocking the graveyard through Entomb, Buried Alive, and Hermit Druid, Thranduil and Necrotic Ooze inherit tap and untap abilities from powerful druids. The primary win condition generates infinite mana using Devoted Druid or high-yield mana producers like Selvala, Heart of the Wilds paired with untap engines like Staff of Domination, Umbral Mantle, or Agatha's Soul Cauldron. Once infinite mana is established, the deck draws its entire library through Staff of Domination or Thranduil's triggers, closing the game immediately with Thassa's Oracle or lethal trample damage from Ezuri, Renegade Leader.
