Deck overview

This is a Dimir ninjutsu tempo-control deck helmed by Satoru Umezawa. The plan is simple and explosive: deploy cheap unblockable creatures, cast Satoru, then activate his blanket ninjutsu to cheat enormous threats into play tapped and attacking for a flat {2}{U}{B}. Payloads like Blightsteel Colossus, Archon of Cruelty, Valgavoth, Terror Eater, and Lord of the Void ignore their printed mana costs and immediately pressure life totals or poison. Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow in the 99 supplies a parallel drain engine whenever Ninjas connect. The deck backs this combat cheat with a dense counterspell suite and combat-damage draw (Enduring Curiosity, Reconnaissance Mission, Grazilaxx, Illithid Scholar) so it can protect the window and refill. Wins come from infect one-shots, repeated big-creature combat, and Yuriko life loss rather than conventional infinite combos.
