Deck overview

This deck is a Jund -1/-1 counter aristocrats and attrition strategy commanded by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. The primary plan accelerates into Auntie Ool on Turn 3 or 4, then deploys synergistic token producers such as Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons and Nest of Scarabs alongside recurring counter distributors like Yawgmoth, Thran Physician and Carnifex Demon. Putting counters on friendly creatures draws cards through Auntie Ool, while placing them on opposing creatures drains opponent life totals. The deck locks down opposing boards through Kulrath Knight and Maha, Its Feathers Night, converting board control into an overwhelming token army and continuous life loss that eliminates the table by Turn 7. It also includes an infinite mana loop via Devoted Druid and Mikaeus, the Unhallowed. With flexible spot removal, asymmetric sweepers, and high functional redundancy, the deck maintains steady card velocity and board oppression.
