Deck overview

This Azorius control deck uses Taigam, Ojutai Master to generate immense card and tempo advantage through rebounded spells and uncounterable noncreature magic. The primary game plan focuses on deploying Taigam on Turn 4, protecting him in combat using Reconnaissance or equipment, and using cantrips and delve draw spells to dig into game-ending locks. The centerpiece win condition is the asymmetric synergy between Taigam and Dovescape, which counters all opposing noncreature spells while allowing player instants and sorceries to resolve and create 1/1 Bird tokens. When combined with Guile, Dovescape triggers an infinite loop of casts and counters that generates an arbitrarily large flying army. Backed by uncounterable countermagic like Dovin's Veto and Glen Elendra's Answer, as well as proactive protection from Grand Abolisher and Mother of Runes, the deck establishes commanding board dominance before closing the game via overwhelming token combat.
