Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Dragon tribal build helmed by Smaug, the Impenetrable, a 6-CMC 8/7 indestructible haste flier that generates Treasure tokens whenever it is dealt noncombat damage. The primary game plan is to deploy cost-reducing Shamans early, then chain large Dragons with flying and trample, while using a dense suite of burn spells to clear blockers and pressure opposing life totals. The deck's engine revolves around Treasure generation from cards like Smaug, Wicked Worm, Smaug the Magnificent, and Ganax, Astral Hunter, turning those tokens into mana acceleration and conditional card draw.
