Commander: Vren, the Relentless

Deck overview

This Dimir control and tribal deck is commanded by Vren, the Relentless. The deck focuses on repeatedly clearing opposing boards while turning dead creatures into a growing swarm of exponentially buffed Rat tokens. By using edict effects and forced sacrifices, Vren replaces opponent death triggers with exile and spawns scaling Relentless Rats on each end step. After stripping opponents of their threats, the deck converts its wide board presence into lethal combat damage using tribal power amplifiers, mass evasion, or direct life loss via Gray Merchant of Asphodel.
