Sam, Loyal Attendant // Fordo, Adventurous Hobbit by user2700060

Format: Commander

Commander: Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit and Sam, Loyal Attendant

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Abzan Food/Token deck uses Sam, Loyal Attendant and Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit as a recursive value engine: Sam creates a Food every combat and makes Food activations cheaper, while Frodo turns life gain into Ring temptation and card draw once the Ring has tempted twice. The primary plan is to accumulate Food and tokens, then convert life gain and token creation/sacrifice into table-wide drain with Sanguine Bond, Mirkwood Bats, and Gollum, Obsessed Stalker. Secondary paths use Treebeard or Feasting Hobbit as a large beater and Pippin's +3/+3 haste activation to swing with an army. Hidden commander: Frodo, Sauron's Bane provides a one-shot kill if the Ring reaches four tempts and he can be made unblockable with Access Tunnel or Rogue's Passage.
