King of the elves by Underscore_delo

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Sultai Elf tribal deck is built entirely around Thranduil, the Elvenking, whose ability to gain every activated ability of Elf cards in the graveyard turns the yard into a live toolbox. The primary plan is to mill Elves into the graveyard - via Buried Alive, Aftermath Analyst, Lluwen, Imperfect Naturalist, and assorted surveil/mill effects - then use Thranduil to activate their abilities: Devoted Druid provides infinite green mana, Fauna Shaman grants repeatable tutoring, Imperious Perfect makes infinite tokens, and Ezuri, Renegade Leader supplies the overrun. The secondary plan is straightforward Elf beatdown with lords like Elvish Archdruid and Dwynen, Gilt-Leaf Daen, plus Lathril, Blade of the Elves's tap-ten life-loss finisher. The commander is the engine - drawing two on every legendary Elf ETB and threatening a combo kill once the graveyard is stocked.
