Squirreling Around by freshvswho

Format: Commander

Commander: Chatterfang, Squirrel General

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Chatterfang leads a Golgari Squirrel swarm that wins by going wide. The primary plan doubles every token with Chatterfang and Doubling Season, Peregrin Took, and Academy Manufactor to flood the board, then closes with anthem finishers like Beastmaster Ascension and Preposterous Proportions or incremental drains from Mirkwood Bats, Nadier's Nightblade, Poison-Tip Archer, and Valley Rotcaller. Chatterfang also acts as repeatable removal by sacrificing Squirrels. Secondary paths use Food and Treasure synergies via Gilded Goose, Hazel's Brewmaster, and Jaheira to generate mana and card advantage. Hazel of the Rootbloom is the hidden commander, providing token mana and end-step token copies that let the deck operate without Chatterfang.
