Format: Commander

Commander: Sakashima of a Thousand Faces

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

An all-blue spells- and copies-matter combo deck built around Sakashima of a Thousand Faces. The commander usually enters as a copy of Orvar, the All-Form, Agent of Treachery, or a token maker, and the 'legend rule doesn't apply' clause lets you run multiple legendary copies. The main deterministic win is Displacer Kitten plus Peregrine Drake plus Mind Games with buyback, generating infinite casts and mana, then finishing with Brain Freeze storm or Altar of the Brood mill. Secondary plans use Talrand, Murmuring Mystic, and Master of Waves to make evasive tokens, while Orvar and clone spells multiply value permanents. Dense tutors and a heavy free-counter suite make the deck highly interactive and able to assemble its combo quickly.
