Deck overview

This deck is a four-color Planeswalker Control and Cheat Midrange list commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary game plan focuses on deploying efficient 2-mana acceleration on early turns, setting up inexpensive fodder or topdeck manipulation, and casting Jace on Turn 4. Once Jace enters, its −3 loyalty ability turns cheap tokens or utility creatures into game-ending bombs like Archon of Cruelty, Archfiend of Despair, Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God, and The Eternal Wanderer. To safeguard its planeswalkers and life total, the deck layers defensive taxation using Jace's built-in combat tax alongside Propaganda and Onakke Oathkeeper. As the game transitions into the mid-to-late turns, the combination of repeated planeswalker activations, doubled loyalty triggers via Oath of Teferi, and devastating combat swings systematically exhausts opposing resources and secures victory around Turn 8.
