Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Gruul combat deck that transforms lands into resilient, heavy-hitting creatures using the earthbend mechanic. Led by Bumi, Unleashed, the deck aims to ramp early, cast Bumi on Turn 4, and leverage Bumi's combat damage trigger to untap all lands and take an immediate additional combat phase with land creatures. High-impact amplifiers like Toph, Greatest Earthbender, Branching Evolution, and Avatar Kyoshi, Earthbender rapidly inflate land power, turning basic lands into lethal double-striking threats. Earthbent lands feature built-in resilience by returning to play if killed or exiled, giving the deck natural defense against sweepers. While the deck boasts immense physical pressure and strong recovery, it runs minimal reactive interaction and low defensive shielding, requiring an aggressive racing mindset.
