Deck overview

This Mardu legends-matter deck is helmed by Shanid, Sleepers' Scourge, turning every legendary spell and legendary land into extra cards. The primary plan is midrange combat: curve out cheap legendary creatures and mana rocks, use Shanid's draw trigger to bury opponents in advantage, then win through a pumped, wide board of legendary creatures and tokens. The deck is also a recursion pile - Chainer, Nightmare Adept, Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle, Primevals' Glorious Rebirth, and Orcus, Prince of Undeath all rebuy dead legends, while drain effects like Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim and Arbaaz Mir convert individual deaths and historic casts into table-wide damage. Ratadrabik of Urborg acts as a hidden commander, turning every legendary death into a nonlegendary copy, and Eomer, Marshal of Rohan plus Arni Metalbrow can turn a developed board into a one-turn alpha strike.
