Deck overview

This deck is a Boros Angel tribal and lifegain mid-range strategy helmed by Gisela, Blade of Goldnight. The game plan focuses on deploying efficient early tribal enablers such as Giada, Font of Hope, Bishop of Wings, and Righteous Valkyrie to build a resilient, high-toughness flying board presence. Life total buffers are accumulated quickly, triggering token producers like Resplendent Angel and Angelic Accord. Once a solid airborne army is assembled, the deck transitions into the late game by casting high-impact damage multipliers, notably Gisela or Fiery Emancipation, which double or triple combat output to eliminate opponents over one to two combat rotations. Strong defensive instants such as Flawless Maneuver, Boros Charm, and Guardian of Faith protect the creature core from sweepers, while mass reanimation from Storm of Souls ensures swift recovery if disrupted.
