Black Rose Deck by Gilgamesh038

Format: Commander

Commander: Marchesa, the Black Rose

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Grixis aristocrats/combo deck that puts +1/+1 counters on creatures, sacrifices them for value, and recurs them through Marchesa, the Black Rose. The primary plan is to grind with dethrone, Skullclamp, and Priest of Forgotten Gods while tutoring into an infinite loop; the fastest line uses Gev, Scaled Scorch with Murderous Redcap and any free sacrifice outlet. Secondary paths use Mikaeus persist loops, Living Death mass recursion, and Juri/Flayer/Goblin Bombardment drain. Marchesa is the recursion engine and pseudo-protection rather than a combo piece, and Gev acts as the deck's hidden commander for the counter/combo plan.
