Deck overview

This deck is a Naya Landfall and Earthbending strategy commanded by Toph, the First Metalbender. Toph provides two major advantages: she turns all nontoken artifacts into lands and turns a land into an animated, recurring creature each end step. Because artifacts become lands, spells like Hour of Revelation and Ondu Inversion function as one-sided board wipes that destroy opposing boards while keeping your mana and artifact-lands intact. The deck ramps on turns 1-2, deploys Toph on turn 4, and follows up on turn 5 with explosive force multipliers like Toph, Greatest Earthbender, Bumi, Unleashed, or Omnath, Locus of Rage. As earthbent lands die or get exiled, they immediately return to the battlefield tapped, making your attackers difficult to remove. The deck protects its board with Heroic Intervention, Deflecting Swat, and Sylvan Safekeeper, closing the game on turn 7 through double-striking land attacks and landfall burn.
