Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Ninja tempo and combat-aggro strategy commanded by Splinter, Radical Rat. The primary game plan deploys low-cost evasive creatures on early turns, casts Splinter on turn 3, and utilizes his unblockability activation alongside Ninjutsu and Sneak mechanics on turn 4. Splinter doubles all triggered abilities on Ninja creatures, turning standard card advantage engines like Moon-Circuit Hacker and Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow into overwhelming draw and burn engines. High-end threats such as Shredder, Shadow Master and Dark Leo & Shredder halve opposing life totals rapidly, establishing a decisive must-answer clock by turn 5 and finishing the table on turn 6. The deck features functional redundancy across cheap enablers, solid targeted interaction like Snuff Out and Path to Exile, and protection spells such as Ultimate Magic: Holy to insulate its combat-centric game plan against removal and board wipes.
