Deck overview

Maralen, Fae Ascendant leads a Sultai tribal strategy that merges rapid Elf mana acceleration with Faerie disruption and exile-theft card advantage. The deck opens by establishing low-cost mana dorks and scaling mana engines like Priest of Titania and Elvish Archdruid. On Turn 4, deploying Maralen, Fae Ascendant immediately triggers card exile from opposing libraries and enables casting stolen spells for free based on your creature count. The deck converts this resource velocity into a lethal board state through mass token generation with Elvish Promenade and Lys Alana Huntmaster, supported by asymmetric stat buffs from Thunderfoot Baloth and life-drain pressure from Lathril, Blade of the Elves. Alternatively, it can assemble an infinite token loop using Intruder Alarm and Presence of Gond, exiling all opposing libraries in the process. With a strong suite of cheap counterspells, instant removal, and board protection like Heroic Intervention, the deck reliably controls the table while closing games through overwhelming combat damage.
