MEGA FANG - Chatterfang - Voltron by DapperVGC

Format: Commander

Commander: Chatterfang, Squirrel General

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari landfall/value deck that plays as a hybrid of voltron and token swarm. The pilot's primary plan is to ramp heavily, find Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth, and make Chatterfang, Squirrel General unblockable via forestwalk while Staff of Titania turns every Forest into power. Mightform Harmonizer and Scythecat Cub convert multiple landfall triggers into one-shot commander-damage kills. That said, the 99 is not a pure voltron shell: it also builds an enormous squirrel/token board through Avenger of Zendikar, Scute Swarm, Zendikar's Roil, and Doubling Season, with Craterhoof Behemoth as the alternate "kill the table" finisher. Card flow comes from Toski, Bearer of Secrets, Ohran Frostfang, and Skullclamp. The deck is best when it sequences its landfall triggers carefully and holds protection spells for the swing that matters.
