Deck overview

Zurgo Stormrender is the engine of this Mardu tokens deck: each attack spawns a Warrior that drains 1 life per opponent when sacrificed at end step, and the same token cycle feeds a dense web of enter-the-battlefield and death triggers. The primary plan is therefore repeatable token generation plus aristocrat-style drain, while the secondary path uses wide attacks with Voice of Victory/Dalkovan Packbeasts and a large Arabella or Ruinous Ultimatum reset. The commander's role is to convert each attack into a drain trigger and to add card draw when tokens die in combat. The deck is not built around the included DFC Sephiroth; it is a value option, not a hidden commander.
