Commander: Toph, the First Metalbender

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

A Naya landfall deck built around Toph, the First Metalbender turning nontoken artifacts into lands, then using her end-step earthbend to animate and protect them. Because artifacts count as lands, they can be targeted by earthbend, become 0/0 creature-lands with +1/+1 counters, and return to the battlefield tapped if they die or get exiled - a recursive shield for mana rocks and combo pieces. The deck then floods the board with extra land drops from Azusa, Lost but Seeking, Exploration, Dryad of the Ilysian Grove, Loot, Exuberant Explorer, and Burgeoning, stacking landfall triggers from Bristly Bill, Spine Sower, Lotus Cobra, Scute Swarm, Ancient Greenwarden, and Traveling Chocobo. Wins come from giant counter-carrying land creatures, Scute Swarm swarms, and the extra-combat engines of Bumi, Unleashed and Moraug, Fury of Akoum, including the clean Ashaya, Soul of the Wild + Bumi combat loop.
