Deck overview

This Naya deck is a focused creature combo strategy led by Shalai and Hallar. It aims to assemble an instant-kill loop by combining the commander with The Red Terror or Heliod, Sun-Crowned. The deck runs dense one-mana acceleration to consistently deploy hatebears on Turn 2, cast the commander on Turn 3, and assemble the winning combo on Turn 4. Proactive stax pieces like Collector Ouphe, Stony Silence, and Deafening Silence slow down faster combo decks and shut off artifact mana without hindering this list's creature-based development. A deep suite of creature tutors, including Eladamri's Call, Eldritch Evolution, and Chord of Calling, provides exceptional consistency. The deck also features a robust backup plan in Rosie Cotton of South Lane paired with Scurry Oak or Basking Broodscale for infinite tokens and mana if the commander is removed. Low-cost protection spells like Flare of Fortitude and Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar safeguard the combo turn.
