Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Mardu aggro-cheat strategy built around Kaalia of the Vast. The primary objective is accelerating Kaalia onto the battlefield on Turn 2 or 3 using a dense suite of positive-mana rocks, rituals, and signets. On Turn 4, Kaalia attacks to cheat devastating Angels, Demons, and Dragons directly onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. The deck features immediate one-shot lethal combinations like Master of Cruelties, game-warping card advantage engines like Vilis, Broker of Blood, and board-locking protection via Avacyn, Angel of Hope. Elite black tutors provide exceptional consistency, while free interaction like Deflecting Swat and Deadly Rollick protects the commander during critical attack windows. If Kaalia is answered, the deck pivots into hardcasting massive flyers or leveraging Necropotence and Underworld Breach to overwhelm opponents across successive combat steps.
