Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dragon Tribal deck piloted by Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. Its core strategy revolves around accelerating mana in the early turns using efficient 1-2 CMC ramp and Dragon cost reducers to deploy Miirym ahead of curve on Turn 4 or 5. Once Miirym is established on the battlefield with built-in Ward {2} protection, every subsequent nontoken Dragon cast is duplicated, creating immense board presence, doubling enter-the-battlefield damage triggers, and drawing cards in multiples via power-based draw enchantments like Garruk's Uprising and Elemental Bond. The deck transitions into a lethal threat by Turn 6 using force multipliers like Atarka, World Render, Thrakkus the Butcher, and Scourge of Valkas, overwhelming all three opponents with flying combat damage and direct burn by Turn 8. Backed by cheap countermagic and targeted protection spells, the deck exhibits strong resilience and independent backup beatdown lines even without its commander.
