Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is built around Mister Negative, leveraging unconventional life manipulation, life-swapping mechanics, and blink synergies to turn low life totals into overwhelming game-winning swings. The strategy revolves around using potent black card advantage engines like Necropotence, Greed, and Bolas's Citadel or dedicated life-loss outlets like Wall of Blood to intentionally reduce your life total to a critical threshold. Once low, casting or flickering Mister Negative swaps your diminished life total with an opponent, instantly crippling their standing while drawing massive cards to fuel further plays. Secondary win conditions include doubling life gain with Beacon of Immortality alongside Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Sanguine Bond, and setting opponents to critical life with Tree of Perdition and Bloodletter of Aclazotz. Supported by versatile Orzhov spot removal and efficient blink spells, the deck thrives on balancing high-risk life expenditure with explosive, decisive reversals.
