Deck overview

This Rakdos deck is led by Kuja, Genome Sorcerer // Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, focusing on spellslinger burn and Wizard token accumulation. Kuja creates 0/1 Wizard tokens that ping every opponent for 1 damage whenever you cast a noncreature spell. Once you control four Wizards, Kuja transforms into Trance Kuja, doubling all damage dealt by Wizards. The deck supports this plan by chaining low-cost cantrips, artifacts, and removal spells to trigger heavy group burn. Efficient interaction like Terminate, Bedevil, and Rakdos Charm keeps threatening commanders and artifacts in check while your engine develops. Because the primary win condition relies on accumulating fragile 0/1 creature tokens over several turns, mass board wipes represent a notable vulnerability. However, steady card draw and redundant ping sources like Black Waltz No. 3 provide sustained reach to close out games.
