Gylwain by SapphireDragon

Format: Commander

Commander: Gylwain, Casting Director

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a GW enchantress/"Roles" deck built around Gylwain, Casting Director, whose trigger gives every nontoken creature you cast a Role Aura token. The deck pairs that Role economy with classic enchantress draw from Verduran Enchantress, Kor Spiritdancer, and Tanglespan Lookout, then converts a high enchantment count into huge threats via All That Glitters, Helm of the Gods, and Timber Paladin. It wins through combat rather than combo: suit up an evasive or naturally large carrier, protect it with Cosmic Intervention and Peggy Carter, Secret Agent, and close the game on repeated large swings. A small recursion package including Unfinished Business, Liberated Livestock, and Spectral Steel helps rebuild after board wipes. There are no infinite combos in the list; this is a value-beatdown deck that grinds the table down with Auras, Roles, and enchantment-matters payoffs.
