HeliGOD by Ozzzz

Format: Commander

Commander: Heliod, Sun-Crowned

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

Heliod, Sun-Crowned is both the engine and the finisher: his lifelink activation plus the life-gain counter trigger creates an infinite damage loop with Walking Ballista. The Destined White Mage serves as a hidden backup commander, duplicating Heliod's lifelink/counter role, and Cleric Class provides a second trigger. The deck races with fast mana and 1-mana tutors to assemble the two-piece loop, while Urza's Saga can put Ballista directly into play. Secondary plans are Aetherflux Reservoir draining via life gain and a small white beatdown package headed by Serra Ascendant, Ocelot Pride, and Myrel. It is a linear mono-white combo-control deck that uses stax and protection pieces to force its small, cheap combo through.
