Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red burn and stompy strategy commanded by Purphoros, God of the Forge. The primary game plan centers on deploying Purphoros on curve, leveraging his indestructible enchantment status to evade standard creature removal. Once established, the deck casts creatures, generates tokens, and deploys flying dragons to trigger Purphoros and deal table-wide noncombat damage. Damage amplifiers such as City on Fire, Mechanized Warfare, and Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might accelerate this damage output into a lethal clock. Simultaneously, high-impact dragons including Drakuseth, Maw of Flames, Ancient Copper Dragon, and Bonehoard Dracosaur supply heavy aerial pressure and resource velocity. While the deck boasts resilient primary pieces and substantial creature burn, its reliance on natural draws, lack of stack interaction against mass exile, and absence of enchantment removal form its primary strategic limitations.
