Deck overview

This Dimir control deck leverages Kotose, the Silent Spider alongside a deep theft and mill shell to weaponize opponents' decks against them. The game plan focuses on deploying early mana rocks and incremental mill pieces, transitioning into mid-game card advantage through repeatable theft engines like Tasha, the Witch Queen, Hostage Taker, and Thief of Sanity. The interactive suite is robust, featuring efficient free removal in Snuff Out and Deadly Rollick alongside flexible countermagic and mass sweepers like Toxic Deluge and Evacuation. The deck culminates in decisive late-game plays, resolving mass reanimation via Rise of the Dark Realms, explosive mill from Maddening Cacophony, or lethal creature pressure from Consuming Aberration and The Mindskinner.
