Kaalia of the Vast Voltron by user7903629

Format: Commander

Commander: Kaalia of the Vast

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Kaalia of the Vast deck is a fast, fragile build that aims to land Kaalia on turn three and use her attack trigger to cheat huge Angels, Demons, and Dragons into play for free. A strong equipment package turns Kaalia into a Voltron threat, while extra-combat cards like Aurelia and Aggravated Assault make her trigger repeat for lethal. Isshin, Two Heavens as One doubles those triggers, acting as a hidden commander. Secondary wins include the Exquisite Blood/Sanguine Bond drain and Master of Cruelties' one-shot life reduction. However, the deck lacks land ramp and true counterspells, so it relies on speed and recursion (Reanimate, Forge Anew) to outrace interaction.
